ABOUT
We are on a mission to elevate the standard of digital communications in government and public sector.
Our Purpose & Vision
We are here to help you be your best at supporting, informing, engaging with and responding to your citizens online.
Our vision is to transform government and public sector communications that is inherently driven by public interest and that is open, transparent and accountable to the people they represent.
Our values are inherent to the work we do,
and how we show up for each other and our clients.
Life-long Learning
We are committed to continuously learning and being practitioners of what we teach and promote in the fast-paced ever-changing digital media landscape.
Social Media for Good
We advocate for and practice social media for good and are intentional with our own personal social media use so that we hold ourselves accountable for how we show up online.
Sustainability
We are striving to become a Net Zero company. We have a Digital Emissions Policy and offset international travel and any residual carbon footprint with our financial contributions to Irish Trees.
Inclusivity
We employ specialists from across the world and actively promote women’s empowerment. We love diversity to help us better understand cultures. We proactively promote diversity at our events, on our podcast and are always working to improve this.
Remote Teams
All our team work remotely and from home. Working From Another Country (WFAC) is supported also. We have teams in different time zones to support our global clients.
Technology
We are a tech-first company that tests and leverages technology to be more efficient and effective. We believe in tech-for-good.
Parental and Pet Leave
We are parents and pet owners and we believe in supporting our team when life happens. We provide parental and pet leave and flexible working arrangements where possible. We are aiming to be a 4-day week company by 2026.
Giving Back and Paying It Forward
Our nominated charities are COPE who support victims of domestic abuse in Galway, Ireland, where we are headquartered, and The Mark Pollock Trust who are pioneering ground-breaking research to find a cure for spinal injury.
Mental Health
We have open conversations about how we are feeling at work, and remind each other that we don’t save lives (but reputations), and that nothing is worth getting stressed over. We support each other if a team members’ workload is becoming burdensome. It’s ok to make a mistake but we openly discuss how we could prevent it in the future. We say sorry when we get it wrong, to each other and our clients, and work fast to rectify it. We promote being open about expressing when we feel over-burdened.
Accessibility
We offer regular and up-to-date free content for public sector pros who don’t have access to a budget for Continuing Professional Development; Tuesday Ezine, Blog, Podcast, Webinars, Ebooks & Industry Reports. We also have a value-for-money policy as we understand that payment for our work comes from public funds / taxpayer. Our websites meet required accessibility standards and we retain a consultant to support us with this. Our online learning content is available in video, audio and text (where possible).
